A. Menarini Diagnostics was established as a division of its mother company, A. Menarini Industrie Farmaceutiche Riunite, in the year 1976. Thirty years later, on 1st January, 2007, the company went on to become an independent business concern, called A. Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l.

A. Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l. currently employs 1000 staff members all over Europe, 75% of whom are engaged in marketing and distribution as well as customer and after-sales services. The consolidated turnover for the year 2008 reached 320 million Euro.

Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l. is a multinational, international company with headquarters in Florence and 14 fully owned European affiliates in Austria, Belgium & Luxembourg, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, UK and, most recently, Switzerland.
